Wilson’s Paving Repair / Replacement

Drives and pathways can take some serious traffic (literally). Mr Wilsons looked like it had been through the wars and was in need of some serious restoration work. Unfortunately with restoration, some of the effects of the work can weaken the existing structure or can stand out like a sore thumb.

In the end, Mr Wilson opted to have the entire driveway and path replaced. We do not advocate this kind of decision, if the options come down to cost then we can only advise of the positives and negative of this kind of project. In this case, the driveway had taken some serious loading at some stage and had some deep depressions. The path had not fared much better with what looked like sinkholes, cracked and broken pavers to around 40% of the area. Overall, the cost was higher but the savings will be felt in the long run.
